Ok, yeah, that should "just work" out of the box Are you sure the settings aren't in one of the foldout headers?

Could you click the three dots on the Markdown Tools header and enable dev options? It should show which Base Shader GUI it should have

this is how it should look like (and does for me right now), the "Surface" and "Advanced" options should show below the custom ones

First, some more spec questions:

  • only URP in project or also HDRP?
  • which OS and version?
  • which system locale (language)?

Hm, I think we don't have a Win 11 machine (yet)... (but I'll check) Would you be able to try on 2020 LTS and check if the same issue happens there?
