I did multiple times. The page did not give any advice of an problem.

And yes, my account on needle.tools look normal (but dont know where to look).

I didn't change anything. If it works now that's great. Not sure what happened there - the uri mismatch sounds like something that can happen when you switch from Needle Developer mode to production mode where a different server is used (hence the mismatch between a browser cached value and a callback uri) but these are internal settings and it's unlikely you did that.
Happy it worked now. I think manually checking out from the account on the website does the trick.

Mysteriously, both accounts now work fine with each other. I had tried this many times today. My only explanation is that the (much) older account data was still stored in the browser. And it was only cleared by manually deleting the cache. Previously, I had only ever used Ctrl+R to hard refresh.

Joking aside, I still have an account from a previous project. But I didn't know that. In any case, there was no entry in my Keepass store. So I simply registered again via GitHub. Which worked on the first day. But then yesterday it didn't work anymore.
