π§΅#homebrew
Hello <@326446948288823306> sorry we didnt reply to you yet. Have you tried installing nodejs without homebrew or is there a specific reason you cant do that right now?
afaik uninstalling node from macos is very tedious haha, thats why I keep everything tightly managed via a package manager
and it works for other stuff that depend on node
Got it. Im on a mac right now so maybe i can try to debug this later - you probably already restarted Unity / Unity Hub right? Just in case - I know mac users rarely have to restart haha but sometimes it can be caused by other processes not having updated env / path variables (at least on windows) where a restart is necessary.
turned out i had to move it from cellar (which wasnt accessible from needle) to Homebrewβs stable /opt/homebrew/opt/node@20/bin path. needle couldnt access cellar
I see! So now it works?
Is this something that could also be fixed by adapting your path to use the Cellar path?
