#π§-ar-simulation-suggestions

Suggestion: (We haven't purchased/used the asset yet - so please ignore this if it's already included) It would be really useful if the Simulated Environment feature would also allows us to place Image Tracking objects (in the scene at design-time) that get AR tracked when in camera view at runtime.
It does that already - I'll take a note that the docs aren't clear about that. Btw, you can dm me if you'd like to try before you buy

Something that would be useful (to me at least) : cameraManager.TryAcquireLatestCpuImage could maybe return the active camera's image. That's not ideal but would be better than nothing ^^
It should work when you use the environment simulation. Try add a SimulatedEnvironmentManager component to a gameobject and then add a reference to a prefab (or e.g. cube in your scene). Have a look at the getting started samples / camera image samples (via package manager)
oh awesome
There are at least two scenes in getting started using simulated environments which should also provide cam images :)
seems to be working, man you've thought about everything π
okay yeah it's working, and it only see the simulated environment, that's just perfect <:blobaww:834158987893014578>
writing a review right now ^^
but the environment is so perfect it broke my vision algo in a new way <:TrippyBlob:834158811228667904>
Awesome, thanks for the review and I'm glad it is helpful to you π
